WINE CLUB

CCL Wine Club

The CCL Wine Club provides members with the opportunity to enjoy monthly gourmet dinners, wine tastings, and wine purchases at greatly reduced prices. Members also enjoy the following benefits for the annual fee of $200:
  • Monthly wine events, including free tastings, with the opportunity to taste and buy wines often not available to the general public .

  • Extremely low wine markup of 10% plus a 5% service fee (average grocery margin is 25%, average retail margin is 33%). Prices promoted include the 10% markup, but do not include 5% service charge or NC Sales Tax.

  • No corkage fee in CCL restaurants.

  • Reduced corkage fee for events.

  • Social networking with other members.

  • The ability to order any wine available in the Wilmington market.

  • Special offers/emails throughout the year on numerous wines.

  • 12 bottle storage bin in climate-controlled vault. (there is a $100 additional yearly fee and currently a wait list for storage bin)

  • Ability to have any wine retrieved from a member's bin for dining at the club, greatly expanding the selection of wines available to members while dining.

  • Ability to purchase wine for home consumption.

  • Opportunities to meet winemakers and importers.

  • Enormous cost savings in club restaurants.

Wine Gratuities

In order to ensure that the CCL wait staff is properly compensated for their duties, an automatc gratuity of $5 is added for each bottle pulled from your storage bin or brought from home. This savings can be compared to the $20 corkage fee for non wine club members.

Wine Club Events

Please note these events are subject to change. Wine Tastings typically start between 5 and 6 pm. Wine Dinners start at 6:30 PM. There is typically one free wine tasting each month. Some month CCL offers an additional Wine Tasting Seminar for a small charge. There is an additional $15 guest fee for all non wine club member guests.

Wine Club dinners are typically $75-$125, depending on the menu and cost of the wines served. Reservations are required for all Wine Club events. Jackets are required for all wine dinners. A 48-hour cancelation policy applies.

Appropriate Attire

General Clubhouse Attire: Landfall Clubhouse (the Bistro, Jack’s Bar & Grille, Lounges and meeting spaces) & Dye Clubhouse (Pete's, the Lounge and meeting spaces)

  • Gentlemen may not wear any headwear, except for headwear required for religious purposes, inside Clubhouses, including but not limited to caps or visors.

  • Cargo attire (shorts and pants) are not permitted.

  • Denim jeans that are torn, fraying, patched, or have holes are not permitted.

  • Golf and tennis attire, including non-bannered T-shirts, are permitted. Exceptions for bannered t-shirts may apply to children under the age of 15 years old.

  • Gentlemen must wear their shirts tucked in except those which are designed to be worn outside their slacks (e.g. Tommy Bahama shirts and the like).

  • All members including children are expected to wear suitable length clothing for both tops and bottoms appropriate for a family friendly environment.

  • Swimsuits are not permitted.

  • Athletic or running shorts and sweat clothes are not permitted for adults. Exceptions may apply to children under the age of 15 years old.

  • Golf shoes with soft spikes may be worn in the Clubhouses provided they are clean. Golf shoes with hard spikes are not allowed.


800 Prime

  • Gentlemen must wear slacks, jackets, and shirts with collars and sleeves, or turtlenecks.

  • Ladies should dress to complement these standards.

  • Denim jeans are not permitted.


Club Events, Ball Room & Flex Rooms

  • Club dress standards may be modified or waived from time to time by the General Manager for private parties, special activities, and certain Club functions.

  • Appropriate dress for any event will be designated as part of the information provided by the Club.
